I have had a keen interest in photography from an early age; I had my own darkroom by the time I was 14! Being very scientific and technical in outlook, I have approached photography from a functional, rather than an artistic perspective and I have always viewed an image in terms of its technical qualities; sharpness, bokeh, composition etc. I am even a camera geek, forever trying, when I can afford it, to better my camera body and optics.
But I find myself wanting and needing to be stretched creatively, so I have plunged headfirst into an OCA degree in Photography. You can follow my journey.
